In the precomputer days of the early 1900`s, an entire building would be needed to house all the equipment equivalent of just one computer today.
In 1904, this one building served as the East Exchange Telephone Company in San Francisco.
Since the building itself was made from steel and concrete, this is the only know pre 1906 Earthquake and Fire in the whole neighborhood to have survived.
