When San Francisco's devastating earthquake of 1906 struck, much of the city lay in ruins, including the City Hall, except, surprisingly, the iconic dome. When the new City Hall was built, completed in 1916, it was topped with that original dome. Not only is this the biggest City Hall dome, it is even bigger then the dome on Capital Building in Washington D.C. And, this building is still so beautiful, when happy excited couples come here just to get married, they also bring a photographer to capture their happy moments. As peacefully enjoyed 25 March 2024.
