A hard hitting portrait of an aged elderly old African gentleman worn and weary sitting in the dirt at a tribal gathering in a remote village of Karamoja in Uganda, Africa. We spoke to this man, with the help of an interpreter, and found out that he was one of the Elders of the tribe. He had not eaten meat for as long as he could remember. His dream was that he would taste meat again before his death. They had no clean water, no food apart from grain and dried beans sent in from aid organizations. His clothing was filthy dirty, torn, ripped and old. It was the only clothing he owned. They had no soap in the village to clean themselves or their clothing. It was heartbreaking to speak with him and to see the poverty in this village.
