During the late part of the 19th century, what is today just a part of San Francisco was at that time considered 'suburbs',as they were so far out by traveling times for the period. The Outer Mission neighborhood is one such section that was originally 'suburbs'. Not only that, this house was even considered as small for the time period. Built in 1871 for Marsden Kershaw, who had a partnership in a coal yard, very useful for the time,it is a very beautiful, yet simple house. As seen 19 April 2023.
