Kathmandu Durbar Square is a historically and culturally significant site in Nepal, and is one of the three royal palace squares in the Kathmandu Valley that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Kageshwor Mahadev temple is situated at Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, Kathmandu, built in 1711 by Queen Bhuwan Laxmi in memory of the Late King Bhupendra Malla. Kageshwor, a Hindu deity, is an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
