Generally, the Egret has a total length of 65 to 104 cm and weighs between 700 and 1700 g. The animal's plumage is completely white and as a differential, we can talk about the neck and long legs. The beak can be orange-yellow or yellow, something that varies by subspecies. Usually the iris is yellow, in addition to the fingers and legs being black. During the reproduction period, long ornamental feathers called “egretas” begin to appear on the back, chest and lower part of the neck.
