The monument is a memorial wall built from blocks of French limestone, flanked by reliefs depicting scenes from the Old Testament. The relief on the left refers to the slavery of the Israelites in Egypt, the right to the moment when the prophet Samuel had the memorial stone erected at Eben-Haezer after a victory over the Philistines. There is an inscription on the wall, in the middle the years 1940-1945 and on the left and right respectively: WHEN YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE ASKING TOMORROW: WHAT DO THESE STONES MEAN? JOSHUA 4.6. THAT ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH SHOULD KNOW THE HAND OF THE LORD. THAT SHE IS STRONG. JOSHUA 4.24.
