In the northern-most part of Trentham Estate stands the remains of Trentham Hall, including the sculpture gallery, clock tower and the Anglican St. Marys and All Saints Church. Demolished almost a Century ago, this was once one of Englands grandest country houses. This photograph was taken from Piet Oudolfs Floral Labyrinth, which set against the backdrop of historic parkland and ancient trees, is a labyrinth of paths meandering through 30 beds of tall perennial planting, offering up bold colours and wonderful aromas.
