[1] [7]?The Hall of Central Harmony is located within the Beijing Forbidden City in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is situated in the Chaozhong Road area outside the Forbidden City and is one of the "Three Great Halls" of the Forbidden City. It was first built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420) and rebuilt in the 7th year of the Qiqi reign (1627). It began to be called the Hall of Central Harmony in the 2nd year of the Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1645). The word "Zhonghe" is taken from "The Doctrine of the Mean" [1] [7].
