The Bronze Horseman, also known as the equestrian statue of Peter the Great, is an iconic landmark in St. Petersburg, Russia. It is a monumental bronze statue depicting Peter the Great, the founder of the city, riding a rearing horse. The statue was created by French sculptor Étienne-Maurice Falconet and was unveiled in 1782.
