St. John`s Church was a church in the old town of Erfurt. The names of Johannesstraße, Johannesvorstadt and Johannesplatz are also derived from it. Today, only its tower, the Johannesturm, remains. St. John`s Church was first mentioned in a document in 1131. The last building, which includes the tower that exists today, was built between 1469 and 1486 in the Gothic style. September 6th, 2021
