The SkyStar Observation Wheel in San Francisco is a traveling Observation Wheel that initially opened in Golden Gate Park in October 2020, to celebrate the Parks 150th Anniversary. Do to the Covid lockdowns at the time, their one year lease ended up being extended to three years, after which time it was moved to the current location of Pier 39. Because of its size, 150 ft (45.7 M), it can now even be seen across the bay, from the Marin Headlands, with the Bay Bridge in the background. As seen 13 March 2024.
