Stock Photo: Side Angle Shot Of A Pretty Little Snowberry Clearwing Moth Gathering Pollen

ID 252020258 © Butlerla791 | Megapixl.com

This is one of Pennsylvania's two types of hummingbird moths. This is a snowberry clearwing. Not to be confused with a hawk moth or a sphinx moth. The pretty black and yellow colors is what helps identify them. The see-thru wings is what also helps to give them their name. I love how this ones antennas are sticking straight up and the legs are just hanging down from the body. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township nature preserve close to Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
