I love this pretty shot of this yellowjacket. They are usually pretty aggressive and are ready to bite in a moments notice. My daughter rescued this little guy from a dangling spider web he got caught in. I love the bright colors of this guy. The yellow and black stripes are so pretty while seen in the sun like this. I love how you can see his little hairs on his body. And his wings seem to catch the light really well. This picture was taken in the East Coventry township nature preserve close to Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
