Romantic ruins of the former Premyslid castle. You will find it on a promontory above the Berounka River. It is one of the oldest Czech castles, the first mention of it dates back to 1249. In that year, King Wenceslas I. captured his son Premysl (Otakar II.) here. Many perimeter walls and the romantic courtyard have been preserved, but the castle is in poor technical condition.
