This main street in Camden, Maine is typical of many small New England towns. It hosts small shops and a lot of history. Founded in 1791, it is one of only two places on the Atlantic seaboard where the mountains meet the sea. Originally, it was known for an important anchor foundry and ship building. Like many small towns, it has many festivals and attractions like a toboggan run where the U.S. National Toboggan Championships are hosted annually.
