The Palacio de Correos was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Its design and construction was the most modern of the time, including a very eclectic style mixing several different traditions (Italian Renaissance, Elizabethan Gothic, moorish, baroque and Art Deco elements. The main stairway is characterized by two separate ramps that come together to form a landing.
