This pretty little bright yellow bird is an American goldfinch. He decided to come visit my deck the other day in search of some birdseed to eat. I love the side angle shot of this guy because you really get to see the black and white in his wings. His bright yellow body really stands out and there is no way he could blend in with anything. If you zoom in and look at his orange beak you will see a piece of seed in his mouth. This picture was taken right outside my house in the East Coventry township close to Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
