This cute little goldfinch is trying to blend in to this wilted plant in this meadow. Usually these finches are bright yellow, but during the Fall season the colors fade so they can be camouflaged with their surroundings. The little bird is really clinging on to the plant so it can get some of the seeds from the seedpod. This picture was taken in the East Coventry nature preserve outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
