A Little Egret, a very elegant and beautiful bird from the heron family. This one is hunting or fishing in the reeds on the edge of a mere. It is hunting by paddling with its feet to disturb its prey, which are invertebrates, amphibians and fish. It's feet are yellow or orange which help it see the prey it has disturbed. This one paddles, looks carefully and catches a fish at the end of the clip
