Galleria Giuseppe Mazzini is a covered shopping arcade located in the center of Genoa , near the Carlo Felice Theater and Piazza De Ferrari . Named after the patriot Giuseppe Mazzini , it runs parallel to via Roma , together with which it was built between 1870 and 1880 on the example of the famous passages in Paris and the Milanese Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II , which inspired it. It is one of the examples of the so-called iron architecture .
