This is a Winter picture of the historic home of World War I hero Sargent Alvin C. York in Pall Mall, Tennessee in Fentress County. This 2.5-story framed house was a gift by his hometown after the returned from the war. The house is an example of Colonial Revival architecture true and was built in 1922. The house is a contributor to the Sgt. Alvin C. York State Historic Park which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 11, 1976. This picture was taken on January 24, 2019.
