Kestrels are small birds of prey like Falco. The Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus, Linnaeus) is one of the most common raptors in Central Europe. Many people know the kestrel as it has conquered the city as their environment and is characterized by its unique oscillating flight. Kestrels nest and live in wooded areas, but hunt in open country.
