ID 46463900 © Zazzart | Megapixl.com

Female kestrel on a pile of wood in a cold and foggy morning. The Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus, Linnaeus) is one of the most common raptors in Central Europe. Many people know the kestrel as it has conquered the city as their environment and is characterized by its unique oscillating flight. Kestrels nest and live in wooded areas, but hunt in open country. They're in the city, the roofs of the highest buildings, feeding mainly of house sparrow and starlings. In this photo there is a female kestrel.
