The great white heron, also known as the white heron, is a bird in the order Pelecaniformes. It is a widely distributed heron and can be found throughout Brazil.
It is a completely white bird, has a long, yellow beak, and black legs and toes. It measures, on average, 90 cm. It presents huge egretas in the reproductive period. The iris is yellow.
