Young muslim boy is cycling for prays to an old medieval mosque in Bole town in Northern Ghana (western Africa). The historical mosque is located in the town centre and it is still used on regular basis, despite several modern concrete mosques have been built recently in the area. The mosque is built of clay (traditional sahel style) on wooden frames that are visible on the walls. The mosque is located on a small junction market on which local people sell goods (visible selling woman). From the market multiple roads lead radially towards all parts of Bole town and villages that surround the town. This is an important religious, social and touristic point in this remote part of Ghana.
