Clívia is often confused with lily, given the similarity, however its flowers are smaller, more numerous and grouped in a beautiful and compact bouquet. Another difference is that clivia flowers are red to orange and rarely yellow, with a yellow center, while lilies already have other color varieties. The foliage of the clivia is also quite ornamental. It should always be grown in full sun. Most of the time its bulbs are planted in pots and planters, but we can form massive and borders. It is quite demanding in fertility, irrigation and drainage. Your substrate should contain a good amount of organic matter. It is multiplied by seeds and by division of the clumps after flowering.
