In a small area on the Strezlecki Track in South Australia are a group of Dingoes that live in dens which they have burrowed into the soft sand. The Dingo is a native predator endemic to Australia and the Apex Predator on the land. Of a night you can hear them howling. Undecided if the full moon was any reason for their howling, or if the always howl. This strong healthy young male was checking out his territory.
