The high-rise building of the Thuringian Parliament popularly known as the Eierkiste is a high-rise building on Beethovenplatz in the Thuringian state capital Erfurt. The high-rise was built in 1950/51 according to plans by architects Egon Hartmann, Hartmut Schaub and Heinrich Weiß. The ten-story building was built in traditional solid brick masonry.
