The age of the strata is divided into the pre-Paleozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic. Each boundary is divided into multiple departments. The global standard between departments and departments is commonly known as the `golden nail,` the `golden nail` of Changxing, Zhejiang, which is both a symbol of the boundary between the Permian and Triassic, and a symbol between the Mesozoic and the Paleozoic. It is one of the three largest `golden nails` in geological history.
