Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located in the Wulingyuan Mountains. In 1982, the mountainous area was recognized as the National Park of China, and 10 years later they were added to the UNESCO list. The pillars of sandstone and quartz reach 1080 meters in height, this is the most high-altitude part of Olingyuan. The park area is 479.15 km².
