This is a Yucatan gray squirrel, a Sciurus yucatanensis species, Sciuridae family. It is a tree squirrel found in the Yucatan Peninsula, Belize and Guatemala. They are active during the day and spend most of their time in trees. Sometimes they walk on the ground looking for seeds. Image captured in the right and funny moment. Observed at Cerro Cahuà Protected Biotope, Petén department, Guatemala.
