During the late evening and early morning, under the midnight sun of the north, the sunset and sun rise almost merge together at times as one long colourful display in the sky that can last hours, providing one of the longest Golden Hours in the world. On clear nights like this, the endless blue sky almost merges with the extension of calm clear water before you, only broken by a distant shoreline.
