Yan`an is an important birthplace of the Chinese nation. In October 1935, the CPC Central Committee and the Central Red Army successfully reached Wuqi Town, and Yan`an became the foothold and starting point of the Chinese revolution. The Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao and other revolutionaries of the older generation lived and fought here for thirteen years, led the War of Resistance against Japan and the War of Liberation, cultivated the spirit of Yan`an, and were the three major educational bases for patriotism, revolutionary tradition and the spirit of Yan`an. This is a large figure sculpture in the exhibition hall.
