Y10 is the first large scale aircraft for civil use researched and developed by Chinese researchers and engineers only in Chinese airplane history. The project started in Aug. 1970, and its first flight took place on 26th Sept. 1980. Since Feb. 1985, the project costs 537million RMB on its development and research, and today the airplane Y10 is lying silently in the corner of the Shanghai Airplane Manufacture’s warehouse.
