Wright Brothers National Memorial at Kill Devil Hills, NC, USA. The memorial is a 60-foot granite structure commemorating the first controlled powered flight by Wilbur and Orville Wright on December 17, 1903. The memorial was dedicated in 1932, and is located at the top of 90-foot-tall Kill Devil Hill, the launching site for the first flight.
