Pictured is a worn ancient statue and wall plaques in the garden outside the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Ravenna, Italy. The statue is of a bald man in a Franciscan habit, but the inscription on the pedestal is no longer readable so the saint is not readily identified. The Basilica was erected in the early 6th century by Theodoric the Great.
