In the Old Mill Park, in the lovely town of Campbellford (Ontario, Canada), can be found the world’s largest two-dollar coin—right beside the beautiful Grand River. Called a “toonie†by Canadians, the top of this iconic monument is 27 feet (8.2 metres) off the ground it has a diameter of 18 feet (5.5 metres). The bear, named “Churchill,†was designed by local wildlife and landscape artist Brent Townsend the monument was installed in 2001 by a local welder, Steve Redden.
