Torås Fort is located in the southwestern part of the Oslofjord on an island called Tjöme. The fort was established in 1939 by the Norwegian armed forces, and completed in 1941 by the occupying German forces. The scenery and the experience is totally mesmerizing on a clear, sunny summer day like this. The scenery and the infinite horizon is totally worth the effort of climbing the stairs up to this landmark.
