Women talking while a child is climbing piles of junk and garbage in a market in Ubud, Indonesia. Bali is often considered a paradise on earth and probably tourists mostly see clean and tidy hotel environments, but i was travelling a lot during my 4 month stay and my heart was broken to see so much pollution on the island everywhere. Due to the heat and poor sanitary conditions coupled with huge amount of litter and garbage i have noticed that many children have some kind of skin disease.
