The wolves' gorge in local language Wolfsschlucht is a small river valley with a tall thin waterfall in the Eifel. The gorge is located in the volcano stone area at Laacher See with rough crumbling cliffs of a soft light volcano stone, called Trass. The gorge is kept almost natural with fallen trees providing ways across the river and many wild animal.
