These winter-flowering Aloes are a big feature in Kirstenbosch botanical Gardens - a must see for the majority of tourists to South Africa. With a backdrop to the Castle landmark and hikes up to the back of Table Mountain, these Aloes are well-established in the many rockery sections of the gardens, growing to a height of 3 meters or more, mainly in the winter months of May, June and July, also attracting birds to the tubular flowers with its succulent leaves
