Windmills in Kinderdijk - a group of 19 historic windmills near the village of Kinderdijk in the province of South Holland, the Netherlands. Most of the windmills were built between 1738 and 1740. It is the largest concentration of historic windmills in the whole of the Netherlands and one of the country's most famous tourist attractions. In 1997, the entire group, along with dams, locks, reservoirs, pumps and administrative buildings, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
