A stormy autumn day at west side of the summit of Cottonwood Pass, 12,126 feet (3,696 m). The Cottonwood Pass is a high mountain pass located in between Buena Vista and Crested Butte, Colorado, USA. It is usually closed from early November to late May each year due to heavy snowfall. In the background, these high peaks are part of the Sawatch Range of Rocky Mountains.
