When light hits a surface,some of its energy is reflected and some is absorbed. The color a person perceives represents the wavelength of the reflected light. White light contains all wavelengths of the visible spectrum,so when the color white is reflected,it means that all wavelengths are reflected and none are absorbed,so white is the most reflective color
