September 22, 2006 - A barrier erected by Israeli Defense Forces keeps Palestinian landowners out of an olive grove in the West Bank, just outside of Jerusalem, claiming the road passes too close to an Israeli settlement on the hilltop. Though there are some legal avenues, Palestinians in the Occupied Territories have little legal recourse if their land is taken by Israel in the name of security, even though such settlements have been deemed essentially illegal by the International Court of Justice.
