Krka is a national park in Croatia, declared in 1985 and named after the river Krka. The park is located near the town of Sibenik. The Krka National Park is especially famous for its numerous waterfalls and multi-coloured lakes. The area of the national park is 109 km². On its territory, 860 species and subspecies of plants have been identified.
