Beget is a small population center that belongs to the association The Most Beautiful Towns in Spain, the most prominent building is the church of San Cristóbal, around which the oldest part of Beget is located and its stone houses are grouped around the stream. In 1860 it had 1,309 inhabitants, currently it has no more than 25 inhabitants and has become a tourist town and second home.
