Visby, located on the island of Gotland, in the Baltic Sea, this well-preserved medieval Hanseatic town dates back to the 12th century and contains several remarkable church ruins. Along the streets of Visby are more than 200 buildings and homes dating back to somewhere between the 12th and 14th centuries.
