Znojmo Reservoir is a reservoir on the river Dyje, put into operation in 1966. The dam of the waterworks, whose length is 115 m, is located near the center of Znojmo, at the river kilometer 132.73, at an altitude of 228.49 m above sea level. The dam is equipped with two lower outlets each DN 1000 and a crown two-pole safety overflow covered by segments and flaps. The entire flood of the waterworks is located in the Podyjà National Park and its banks are overgrown with preserved forest stands.
